Faith Youth Court has been around almost as long as the Most Worshipful Jeff Long Grand Lodge and Electa Grand Chapter, the leaders and workers within this department are committed to promoting education, personal growth, and community service among young people.

The Court is designed to provide young people with a comprehensive understanding of society and how to function as they enter adulthood. The Youth Court is an educational component that provides young people with an opportunity to learn. Youth and young adults develop leadership skills, improve their communication skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of ethics and morality in the world.

Our Youth Department leaders play a vital role in guiding and shaping the development of the young people who participate in their programming. These leaders are responsible for creating a positive and safe environment for youths to learn, grow, and build relationships. They provide mentorship, guidance, and support to help youth and young adults navigate the challenges of adolescence and develop the skills they need to become successful adults.

Faith Grand Youth Court leaders are passionate, empathetic, and have a deep understanding of the unique needs and experiences of young people. They possess strong communication skills, are adaptable, and are committed to promoting positive change in the lives of the youth they serve. Overall, our youth department leaders are essential to creating a thriving and supportive community for young people to learn and thrive.

We are very proud of the many youth and young adults who have been a part of the department since its inception many years ago. We believe in the value of investing time, attention and resources into helping our youth succeed. There are many challenges facing them today and our meetings provide a distraction, but also opportunities to learn, engage and grow.

Most of our youth are the children of the Masons and Eastern Star adult members of the organization. Our Founder (Dr. William Venoid Banks) set up the Youth Courts to serve as a place for our adult members to feel safe with their children having something to do while they were in meetings. Our Order is based on Christian principles, so our youth learn the value of putting God first in their life and building from there.
