Understanding International Masons
Since we are a Modern Fraternal Order, our structure accommodates checks and balances. The original structure of Freemasonry was formed in 1717 in England, long before the United States declared its independence. Once America became a Sovereign Nation, the opportunity for Fraternal Orders to organize opened, thus allowing IFAMM to begin in 1950.
The bedrock principle of Freemasonry is to take good men and make them better. Through regular meetings, fellowship, and education; the men who join our Fraternal Order are destined to be better contributors to their family, community, and society. He must believe in the Fatherhood of God and Brotherhood of Man to apply for membership.
Eastern Stars are the shining examples within many communities as to what true bonding looks like between women. The Order of the Eastern Star was founded using inspiring Biblical examples of heroic conduct and moral values. Our members portray the principles and they serve to adorn the personal lives of Eastern Star members.
And a child shall lead them. We believe our youth are the most valuable human asset, and deserve our time, attention, and resources.
We emulate the lives we want our youth to strive for, while operating in the spirit of excellence. Many Masons and Eastern Stars were once a part of our youth courts before becoming adults.
We have provided photos to share with our members and those interested in seeing more of what we do.
